Offline Junior Member Posts: 37 Joined: 30.10.22 Warnings:	Hey guys, for this year's anniversary I'm releasing an improved version of my remaster mod, and as I with my friends have a small community around our DayZ server, and some free server capacity, I'd like to run a VC server for us. Would someone be able to give me some tips? It's like 15 yrs since I ran a vc server, when gamespy was still working. Are there any special tools or scripts which would help? Is there a way to manage the server (or at least see the current map and player count) remotely? Also. I really love the vanilla game campaign missions and I once saw a server, which really looked like I was playing a coop campaign. I remember playing in a Bahnar village, and once all npcs were eliminated, the game proceeded to a next location without changing the map. Do I remember this correctly? Is this possible to do?

Offline Newbie Posts: 1 Joined: 30.10.16 Location: ITALY Gender: male Warnings:	Heya Desintegrator, for run the vietcong server you have to download vcguard, and setup all files in vietcong root folder, forward those standard udp ports: 5425, 15425 in your modem/router. Run program Notepad as administrator, open file C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and add the following line to the end of the file: 46.28.109.117 master.gamespy.com ( also for the game to allow to see the servers list).
