The Vietcong multiplier no longer finds servers or players. Earlier, the problem started that he found very few servers and had to constantly update the server to find anything. Now nothing helps anymore. There are no more servers. What is the problem and how to fix it. I've been doing this for a long time, but nothing got better: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUpHI8JlWpE
Thanks in advance!
I don't understand exactly the recommendation. What hosts?
Do I need to download anything? Please provide a more detailed link, otherwise I cannot proceed.
To see the Servers you have to add some line in the "hosts" file

After applying this fix the game uses a new gamespy emulation server so the in-game serverlist is still available.
This will break online fixes for other GameSpy games that realy on the same master address.
Run script to update (https://vietcong1.eu/vietcong1eu-alt-master.bat) hosts file automatically
Edit hosts file manually:
Go to %WINDIR%\System32\drivers\etc\.
Open hosts with an editor like Notepad.
Add the line 46.28.109.117 master.gamespy.com and save the file.

Try it
Everything was done as instructed, but I still can't find anything. Is there anything to do with the game in a few days? Servers found 3-4 days ago. Although not as much as years ago. Or does the host need to delete this old 65.112.87.186 master.gamespy.com46.28.109.117 master.gamespy.com?
here is my config:

I also have the same problem... Weeks ago, my servers list "in game" droped to around 10 servers only but now, the servers list is all empty, and I made no changes to my system... I still haven't got the time to search for a fix... Maybe it's because of an antivirus scan?
I also know that another friend got the same drop of servers in his "in game" browser...
And because the server of my friend "ducks coop range" (and actually running) isn't in the servers list of the Vietcong1.eu site either, I think that the problem is more related to a specific region on the web...(?)

I'm still investigating...
My servers list "in game" is back!
My friend told me that the reading of the IP address, in the Hosts file, could also depends of its position in the list. So, I put the address above "the others" and the servers were back.
I don't know why it worked before that change but be aware of that specificity!
