How to host properly a server with VCDED

Hi,
Since few years, I would like to host a server but I don't understand why it never appears in the servers list even with UDP/TCP ports open and the firewall on Win7 doesn't block VCDED.
And maybe now I have to change something because of the closure of Gamespy?

This is the list of UDP/TCP ports which was on Pterodon website:
The following are the UDP packets required to be open:
3425-5440, 5725-5740, 5555, 6500, 6515, 6667, 6073, 3783, 13139, 2300-2400, 15420-15440, 27900, and 28900.
The following are the TCP packets required to be open:
27900, 28900, 29900-29901, 5425-5450, 2300-2400, 5555, 6500, 6515, 6667, 3783, and 15425-15430.

Somebody could help me please to fix this invisibility?

Actually it should be enough to open (firewall) / forward (router) these ports:

UDP 15425 (and 15426+ if you host more than one server)
UDP 5425 (or the defined port number(s) for the server(s))

And you have to add this line to "C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts" file:

65.112.87.186 master.gamespy.com
  x 1  x 1  x 1

My server seems to work. I though it wasn't work because I find it only on LAN on my second computer.

My VSOP server works with these ports only. I have regularly people on it, so that's certainly enough.

Yes, it works VC
I checked it. Right, only 15425 UDP and 5425 UPD is enough to host a Server.

Open these 2 Ports in the Router and pipe to your internal Hosting Server/PC

I would like to know if it could be possible to directly lauch the server without passing by the options?
I'm pretty sure that there is an extension to write like " "C:\Program Files\Vietcong\vcded.exe" -launch" but I don't know exactly what (-launch doesn't work ^^)

vcded.exe" -dedicated config.ded -addon fistalpha

config.ded name must match what is in your folder Dedicated, or rename it to him config.ded and run this parameter
