I need some help with making terrain so I can make my own custom maps.
In map editor do I select new scene? For making a new map? And how do I change my COOP VC uniforms and head gear? I only know how to change their weapons. Also is it possible to make the VC in my maps have bayonets and use them?
Thanks KostiCZ I will read the tutorials I have seen the videos before for how to move or place objects but the only video there that had how to make terrain in 3ds max was in a different language.
In editor it won't let me open up maps like waterfall, medic patrol and more it says I need a bes file for the background or something what do I need to do so i can edit the map? Also when I type into data base names of objects it doesn't come up with any results even though I spelt it right, I'm trying to get the NVA truck from that fist alpha map " Cambodia "

With some maps, you have to go take those missing ".bes objects" from another folder. Usually, those objects have been "added" later and aren't part of the "default data" from the main game.
In that case, you need to use Total Commander (with the plugin cbf.wcx, but I'm not sure you have to use it in this case), to go search in the game the missing objects and to copy them into your own map "objects" folder, one by one, till the editor open the map completely...
Note that for some objects, you will have to find the right textures also and copy them in your TEX folder as wel!
