Please COPY AND PASTE the following Link below INTO YOUR BROWSER to Download the Zip File: Vietcong Zip File 09292024.zipx (Approximately 3.2GB ) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MIp3e7Ehzx0g-QmvBxxok6VMvWskglf9/view?usp=sharing B. Please use the following instructions to get Vietcong up and running in only a few minutes once it has been downloaded! 1) Once the zip file “Vietcong Zip File 09292024.zipx” has been downloaded you will need to unzip it. Note: Unzip it to the Desktop location when asked! The folder “Vietcong” will appear on the desktop as it is unzipping the files. The time of initial Download of the Zip file will depend on your internet connection. The time it takes to finish unzipping it will depend on your computer’s capability! 2) When unzipping is complete! Open the “Vietcong” file folder displaying all files and folders. Find the line item “Vietcong – Fist Alpha” (shortcut). Copy and paste it to the desktop. Lastly go to the line item “hosts” file and also Copy and Paste it to the desktop (Note: to be used in (C) below). 3) Next open file explorer and double-click on the C: drive to open and display the “Program Files” Folder. Move (Cut and paste) the “Vietcong” file folder located on the desktop into the "Program Files” Folder. 4) YOU ARE NOW READY TO RUN VIETCONG!!! 5) Double-Click on the shortcut located on the desktop “Vietcong – Fist Alpha”! The game should start. 6) Once into the game make the necessary changes to the mouse, keyboard, and game related setup since they are the ones I used in-game. C. Do the following in order to get an “in game” list of servers being hosted by “Vietcong1.eu” website! (1) Open file explorer and double-click on the C: drive to open it and display the “Windows” Folder. Next Double-Click on the “Windows” Folder and open it. Next go to the folder “System32” and open it. Next go to the folder “drivers” and open it. Next go to the folder “etc” and open it. (Please note that this is where the “hosts” file is located and must be replaced with the “hosts” file you copied from the Vietcong Folder now located on the Desktop). (2) In order to do this we must first rename the “hosts” file located in in the “etc” folder by right clicking on it and going to “rename”. Rename it as “hosts-old”. Finally, move (Cut and Paste) the “hosts” file located on the desktop into the “etc” folder and exit. (Note: you may need to be an Administrator to rename and/or replace this file). This should give you the in-game list of available servers being hosted by “Vietcong1.eu”! PLEASE NOTE THAT I CAN E-MAIL THIS SAME INFORMATION TO ANYONE'S E-MAIL IF YOU CAN GIVE ME AN E-MAIL ADDRESS!!!!! THEY CAN IN TURN FORWARD IT WITH ATACHMENTS TO OTHERS!!!
