I'm considering moving the flags in the standard Halong Port map.
Will move the VC flag to a spot *above* and outside the cave, near the top of big ladder ("big ladder" = the ladder inside the VC cave, not the "tower ladder". ) .
The US flag will be on the far end of that long wooden wharf that runs along the concrete past the crane. (NOT on the docks that extend out over the sea.)
Why?... Because "Halong Only" is turning into "Halong for all Eternity".
Besides, I think Vietcong online multiplayer is on its last leg, at least for players in the U.S. like myself.
@ RiskyDingo: Check out the {THM}HALONG_PORT2009 - http://www.vietco...mp;page=11. This map has many neat enhancements, especially giving the VC side some great opportunities they need.
I agree, the original Halong Port, being a heavily US sided map, definitely feels somehow dull and not much fun to play.
At first I thought it was pretty cool. But after a while, it left me cold. The new passages through the rock seemed to "dilute" the action, for lack of a better term. It seems too easy to get where you want to go. And the flags are in the same old places. Maybe I'm just weird that way.
