Hi all. I was thinking to play this game a long time. All went well until i click multiplayer and join game, then came this Ad:
Vietcong 2 Game.exe has stopped Working, and it`s return windows So internet playing not work. I check Vista firewall and it`s allow this game , so that ok. Then i check my router, it`s ok too. I try also re-install game, not work What next , help someone? Thanks .

You have to edit the hosts file
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\HOSTS
add lines

Yes, it work now , many thanks I have still another question, is vc2 dead , there was only 1 player on server? I have version 1.0 , if i download another version, is there more players ?? Where i can download another version? Thanks again .

oh rly . seems vc2 aint so popular .
I downloaded patches v1.10 and v1.20, i tried play both versions in multiplayer, but none servers or players in there So looks like this game is not popular anymore I remember example 5 years ago, there was lot servers and players, very sad In version 1.0 was couple servers , how i get back this version?

thats a poor thing .although i dont have vc2 , but on vc1 , you can go to vietcong folder and remove newer version . another guy will answer more correctly .
