I'm checking the register function and unfortunately, it doesn't work now, sorry for that... the site has been created using a poor choice of PHP/Nette, so I hope Qtracker will kick in soon, I'd rather not dive into debugging it. I also hope I'll get back to rewriting the site into Python with front-end in AngularJS which would make the browsing more flexible.
- players can use the Run button on the list/server view (the server view also informs about the IP and port which can be used for the direct connect)
No Servers with flexible IP to see. I had to register! But what will happend tomorrow ?
Thats not all, i do not see the most Server in Game. Not all "registerd" Servers are in Game choice !!!
@Homi: The crawling mechanism fetches information from gaming servers as long as they're available. Once they're gone (or connection is somehow interrupted), they're not being contacted again until they register to Qtracker or Vietcong1.eu again, so my server isn't marked as some malicious scanner.
In the rewrite of the site (which is still under construction), there's an one hour window when offline servers are still being contacted, in case they revive.
@WEZ: Of course, flexible IPs have to be registered (to Qtracker or Vietcong1.eu) everytime, there's no way to guess them or search the whole Internet for VC servers. I didn't get the non-bold text, sorry.
Thinking about it more, I'm not that sure now: how many free DynDNS services are still out there? Someone wanting to regularly/permanently run a dedicated VC server, but not being able to arrange for (maybe pay for) a static IP? Plus the fact that managing own DynDNS record requires some knowledge, installing/configuring/running the client.

So must the error in the code, the servers are online 24/7 and were even at the moment when he was qtracker offline during the day I registered on your site 3 times and every time they disappeared.
If the server goes down, there is never offline for longer than 10 seconds before automatically restarts.
Even those 10 seconds might be unluckily enough, but it's also possible that my server loses connection to the Internet occasionally.
The good thing is we don't need to solve this now, as Qtracker works properly again. (Unfortunately, someone had been attacking it, it wasn't Qtracker's error.)
But what we can do to help Qtracker and support the service is purchase it for $20. (I did.)
