Hi! i am new player i don't know how to update my game from version 1.01 to the last version and i want anti crash (my windows is 7 bit 32)i see servers but i can't join
download vcstarter 1.65.1 exctract into main vietcong folder
(you will rewrite vietcong.exe -> you don´t need cd to start game)

65.112.87.186 master.gamespy.com
at bottom of file C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
what version of game do you have? if 1.00 then try patch 1.01 first to intall .. then 1.30, 1.41 and 1.60. I hope I don't forget now any other versions of patch.... let's go!
EDIT: now I see your first post, there is version 1.01 mentioned. Can you write here, where exactly problem is? what error messages are showed?
When have 1.01.....you must update 1.30 than 1.41 than 1.60.....when OK than make this Tool copie in your *Vietcong Ordner* and start first time *VCStarterconfig* klick all on and now start *Vietcong.exe*
turning on "Improve texture" makes my display image arenaceous with Intel graphic cards, with nvidia it is ok.. I don't have radeon -so no experience ... I don' t recommended turning all options for all graphic devices.. for multialiasing and anisotropic option chceck first your settings in your graphic card (if you want it, you have to enable it in driver - mostly relevant for nvidia and radeon control panel)
I have installed VC and Fist Alpha but no server on multiplayer mode, copied this in the right file
