After selecting "Multiplayer", I come to a menu with four choices: LAN, Internet, Direct Connection, and Player.
Starting today, selecting Internet freezes up the screen. Theme music keeps playing. To get anywhere from there, I have to Ctrl-Alt-Delete, log off my computer, then log back on. I have tried about everything I can think of to get around this.
I have this problem all the time. The solution for me is to wait a few seconds before clicking on Internet. (And it's better to run the program windowed and jump to fullscreen with Alt+Enter after loading a map.)
Did that too, but ONLY if no servers are found, Spich with the * host * file.
Sorry to correct only the monkey grip * * (CTRL ALT DEL) key and after that End Task Manager and Vietcong.
Think, when no access to server is freezes the picture, you would have to test how long !!!
With Qtracker tested, since one could come immediately to the server, but that was about as Gamespy still running.
