1. Spawn AI somewhere outside the map and then teleport them to positions of random waypoints on map. Disadvantage - sometimes AI stay at strange positions.
2. Better is place dummy around the map where you want possible AI spawn points and then choose randomly some of them where you want AI to teleport. If you will have enough dummy markers, it will be more realistic, AI can be still hidden, not standing in the middle of road...

That's for custom maps, right? What about standard quick fight mode? Is it possible to change enemy placement to random? It would enhance replayability a lot.
