I think we need to overthink the discipline on the servers. In the last weeks stuff like rejoining, enemy weapons, dead speaking & hinting, sharing knowledge of map details, etc. spreaded out like a virus and was even committed by some of our finest squadsmen (inclulding me ).
From my point of view its about having fun. If you want to have a serious coop round, open a password protected instance of a server and play there with whatever rules you decide.
As you know i am hardly ever in TS or in Game so i cant judge the situation but i have some PM´s in my inbox from members who have that kind of problem.
But remember: every player that is willing to learn teamplay is an enrichment to the VC-Community.....so try to teach them teamplay.
You will have to kick and ban the ones who are not willing to learn but thats the prize a serveradmin has to pay.......
I agree, the clash of some different expectations from the different players have made the gaming a bit tiresome lately -- I think we all (the "core players" who play regularly) share that feeling one way or another (some express it, some keep quiet and simply leave earlier than usual or stay away..)...... I think it's a balance between knowing each other well enough to not having to hold up some rule-manifest into each others' faces all the time, but also being open enough to tell when things are losing its focus.
-- And I totally agree on the rejoining thing (even if limited to one). I think we'll win a lot from NOT doing that anymore (and actually nobody really seems to like it anyway...).
-- Plus, it would help if everybody is taking equal responsibility again in taking the lead regularly as well as medic and engineer duty.
-- Also, aside from "little accidents" at start before the first kill, we should keep the restarting too a minimum.
-- Therefor, the 60% rule should definitely get back in place -- in our case "manually" by a dead or alive admin telling the joiners to kill themselves. This way, we keep the rounds to a reasonable length and deadpool time won't be so long.
I wouldn't like to see this turn into an endless discussion about rules - since we don't really disagree, but only need to focus on the stuff we know again. Maybe it would be helpful to once get a short "I'm in!"-signal from everybody?! Then we could drop any long discussions?!

Regarding to all the trouble that was going on since the last weeks I'd like to suggest that we reenhance the disciplin & moral
for the HNN-Server.
Let's keep it real!
I'm excited
About that so called Disciplin & Moral
Here is my point of view about the present situation its ment positive and not to bitch or to put anybody down in any way pls remember that .
As a GUEST at your servers i can say that its very confusing regarding to the gameplay ,rules etc ,and the present situation make things even worse.
Many of you have different way's of playing on the servers ,p,e one dude does not like rejoining and get bezerk, the other does not care, enemy weapons same and there are many other examples,I play cong for a few years now and i have a hard time sometimes because i dont know you all well enough (YET) i have no clue how to repond because 2 min before we had a bitch festival on the other server with other players for the same reason ,and what do you expect from the people who are new ? .
I dont say that these guys were wrong but please understand things are getting confusing. Also these situations are creating chaos at the servers among each other , I can understand if TL leaves because he gets frustrated , thats the reason iam no tl or wanna be it in most cases ,because halve the team is not on teamspeak or behaving as if they are in kindergarden .
And last, If i step on somebody toes ingame then sorry,i make mistakes like everybody else does , i dont know you all that good and sometimes i still feel like a stranger in your community and i have to get used to some stuff aswell .Some of you try to change black to white that step is to big for me , i can only deal with dark greyish if you know what i mean.
The most important for me is that we all try to get along as friends if possible. I know some people are not going to like my post but that's not new for me
Iam far away from exited at this moment
I would like to propose you an idea that may reduce all the troubles some of you have encountered during the games...
My idea is that before to start a new map, without to really know what will be the "rules", you should meet on my VC_NuiPek map (or VC_Storm_II, in the bunker) in the Discovery mode (that mode has NO bots)... Then, gather in the TOC bunker and start to talk quietly about the rules everyone is ready to accept for the "nextmap". The Class for each player, the teamleader, the pointman,...and you can even decide about what will be the "rejoining rules" and if the server will be passworded or not! Normally, because all the "rules" have been set now, the nextmap should be a good mission for all!
Note that this "way to play" should be extended in the future but I will talk about it only after to have something more concreet to propose you...
Hi ,
Gameadmin ok but missions are becomming a pain in the ass because you are more busy correcting dudes beeing a nanny than playing, and gets me killed in the most stupid situations.
Iam happy it is not alway's a mess there are also a lot of positive things mostly later or in the evening when some of the Vets are online
Its hard enough to get folks in teamspeak. Intruder what about the dudes that join when you are in mission already ? those are the problem mostly not the ones we start with.
Hello, I've got problem with your serveur.
Since 1 month max, I can't connect on your server. Message : You have been ban.
But don't know why.
My nick was SlipStoNe, or FpG SlipStoNe or FRA| SlipStoNe.
Thank to unban me, I play since 2003, and never got problems...
Thank you !

Indeed, I understand... But if you already got the opportunity to set the mission at, let's say 5 or 6 players in the TOC bunker, it's already a good number of players who already know the "rules"... For the players who join during the mission, one by one I guess, a "special bindkey" could be made for "them", saying it's a mission with rules, like: "Hi, this mission is under rules, please wait for your instructions before to play", or something like that...
For the players who don't want to comply, whatever the rules, they will mess the mission anyway, so a kick (or a ban if needed) is the only solution.
Another possibility is to use a temporary password, only known by the players who were in the TOC bunker before the mission. Then, you can be sure no new "unknown players" will join but in that case, some regulars and trusted members can't join anymore either, excepted if they can have that temporary password in Teamspeak for example...
