Hi,
Perhaps any of yous had the same kind of problems with 3d max .
I have a Sapphire ATI Radeon HD grfxcard and when i start 3d max it freezes.
I have been looking for day's at the internet but could not find a other solution than uninstalling the drivers who are up to date aswell.
I did try to uninstall the drivers and max works like it should but .
Also i wrote a ticked at the ATI site and Autodesk ,the respons from ATI was that i should not use a card like that for 3d max workstation ,that reply was just to idiotic for words. Nvidia /Gforce dont seem to have the same problems .
Anyone knows a solution ?
LOL yep me to .... i guess this card go's to a other pc in the network and this would be the last ATI for me . i had also problems installing this card because it supports 3 monitors and lots of other bells .
i have the same problem. it's caused by windows 7 64- bit. since version 9 i think 64- bit is officially supported.
the only way i found is to run the app in 256-colors (exe properties)
Hi,
You might be possible to download support drivers at the autodesk site but that depends on your grfx card .
I tried that but still it does not work but when i combine 256 colors with a resolution of 640.480 it wil run,but i rather have things like it should .When i was looking arround for my solution i might have seen a solution for your problem .
I will dig in my history later perhaps i can find it again ..
Thanks for the reply's
