Archi have a private server. So he could sell his server to Homi for 24/7 Ability BUT then u have ping limit and 90 % of the west european players will not be able to join (Homi blocks the IP ranges with firewall - like China).
Archi loves all VC player so he wont sell it to the devil, i am sure.
We only block some VPN server ranges,which uses chteter fight ...., jean bono fr ,there is no other restriction.
On selected servers the ping limit is 300ms, more probably not meaningful

10 years ago I understand this was necessary.
In 2018 with just a few players is it still necessary ?
Have no chance to play good with 500ms ping, but at least it’s enjoyable even with that from so far.
There is no thousands players anymore, the good times are behind, you should just let play who still want to.
I think 350ms is already on the edge of playability.
There is a world outside Europe, I mean this game is crazy old, there is still some players which start to play in 2003 from Europe and time to time with them life changed from another country.
I remember those AUS servers or the Americans back years ago when EU had 400ms on those servers sometimes more and were able to enjoy during the night with them. I was in Russia at a time and was playing on the aus servers with 400ms and it was still “playable”, laggy but enjoyable, there is no more competition, no more clanbase, no more esl, and no more players.

Here I have between 4 to 8ms, that’s also why I was asking how to open a dedicated server.
I set the limit to 350ms. Thats not the ping to your "ping-control" server. The limit is set for a playable game and "cheat"-kick. Sometimes you will be kicked by "bad connection" or "cheat", because the connetion is bad or highping.
Your ping problem sounds like monitoring in some Netnode around China.
If your "homeserver" (UDP 5425 15425 portforwarded) cant connect to the "Serverlist" (the server which knows who is hosting) 'cause u will be blocked to it, you never will see ur server in the "internet" list.
On these servers I can’t stay more than 2 minutes and only kicked for high ping, which is not controllable because I live in Shanghai and you are in east Europe.
I have not so many time for this game, but the few I have I just wanted to enjoy a little the old times, if your services are not giving it there is no more hope for this game.
What I don’t understand is that I can play easily on Plissken’s servers from France which is a lot more far than Czech and also this server Black Pajamas Old Homi was pretty enjoyable the last time I was playing with between 300 to 500ms.
Anyway thanks guys for your answers, and I wish you to try to find a marketing way to keep this game alive !

And when you join such servers, isn't possible for an admin to temporarily set the ping limit just a little bit above your actual ping?
And during those 2 little minutes of gameplay, are the other players complaining about your higher ping? If not, I guess it would worth at least a test.
Anyway, if you like the Coop mode, you can also try to play on "ducks coop range" server, which is set without ping limits...
Here is the picture with the server list from China, you can have an idea of the ping I am facing, and mostly it goes up.
I never had any trouble with players, most of them ask me where I come from and don’t even notice about lags...
I posted a picture scoring a week ago on Archi’s server where I used to play an hour and where I can “kill” some with not so many lags as usually, and there also had not any complains from the players.
I am not a big fan of Coop since I start this game in 2003 and knew every patches.
I would love to see back a good CTF on Moorland, OldTemple, ThreeCanyons, Stream, Jarai ..
Like most of us I miss the old time of this game, and for the few players which is still here I can’t mostly join and play with them :-(
I understand your concerns and frustrations and agree with what you said but won't be able to help you more, unfortunately...
