I am playing VC again after very long break. But i am very sad how few players are playing. It is not big problem for coop, but for CTF it is. It is exception when you meet other 16 players on CTF map, it is mostly about 8. 16 players? It is not true CTF (where are the times of 60 players CTF like Black Pajamas Homi). The community is small and fragmented. Since there are so few active players it is almost impossible to fill up some bigger servers.
So I was thinking about CTF events. I dont mean every day, but what about every week, two weeks or month? There would be selected server (so players wouldnt be fragmented into multiple small groups) with available server admin for that time (kick TKs, cheaters, select map based on number of players...). As I said the community is fragmented. so we also should share it with some FB pages or so (server message like when are next CTF event would be awesome too). I do not know much about VC community, so i dont know who are the admins etc...
What do you think about it? Was made such a thing before? Or do you think it is nonsense?

sure its a problem that the 50 players, which still play VC playing it in groups at render time and with render mods....

Good point. There is also a risk that half of players will come at friday and other half at saturday. But set it all on single day has risk that some players just cant come that day... its hard decision

Yesterday, there were about 21 players at peek. Not bad, but I hope it will be better today (I forgot to spam other fb/web sites about it...so next time it will be better).
